Natural Selection Speaker Series

The Natural Selection Tour stop 1 took place January 23-30 in Jackson Hole, WY. Travis Rice asked me to do the Natural Selection Speaker Series, I was a keynote speaker Thursday night at the Jackson Hole Center for the Arts. I opened up “Yeti Night” at the center, I spoke about my Tlingit culture and art. I don’t like to write down anything, I like just speaking from the heart and let it flow naturally. I took the opportunity to talk about the real history of our people, how colonization affected the Northwest Coast people as a whole. I believe education leads to a better appreciation and understanding of Northwest coast art. It was an incredible night.
