Salmon Stream - Live Edge Mesquite
For the Tlingit people, salmon was our principle food source. During the summer months, when the salmon were running into the streams, our people would move from their villages to their fish camps. We would spend those months collecting, drying and storing enough salmon to get thru the winter months. The salmon run sustained our way of life for thousands of years.
